What New Additions and Highlights Can Attendees Look Forward to at the 27th Edition of Maanrock Festival in Mechelen?
On Maanrockrally the winners will perform at Sinte-Mettetuin instead of Mechels Podium. MOES and Concertzaak will team up there adding talented bands like Oyesono and Aili. Hippotraktor and Mayorga will be the first artists on the Groot Podium on Friday and Saturday. The Playground on the Botermark will focus more on skating this year. In the Theatertuin there will be a collaboration with Protostars for the first time. Starting singer-songwriters will have performances at Theater M and some will get the chance to perform at Maanrock. Two performances will be on Friday and one on Saturday.
According to sources Maanrock is happening from Thursday, August 22, to Sunday August 25 in Mechelen. It’s a lively festival with free entry.
