Kraainem (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – On March 24, 2022, in Kraainem, Belgium, Magali Wagner and her daughter Coline Ghinet were drugged and stabbed. Pierre Devalet planned the murders, Ngongi executed them, and Vincent Léglise facilitated them. The sentence will be decided today March 14, 2025.

The 3 men  Pierre Devalet, Ngongi and Vincent Léglise first said they didn’t kill Magali Wagner and her daughter Coline Ghinet, but in December 2022, Pierre Devalet confessed. He said he planned to have Magali and Coline killed, and that Ngongi killed them in Kraainem, Belgium

Vincent Léglise helped Devalet and Ngongi talk to each other.  Because they planned the murders, they were charged with killing on purpose. The trial is happening in Brussels now, and people are interested in it.

Who planned and carried out the Kraainem double murder?

According to Pierre Devalet, he gave Magali and Coline a meal with a sleeping pill and a strong pain medicine called oxycodone on the night they were killed. Devalet stayed at his friend’s house that night, while someone else killed them.

The jury thinks Devalet’s confession is true because of what they found during the investigation.  They think Devalet wanted Magali and Coline to disappear because the murders happened when Coline was staying with her mom.

The jury found Ngongi guilty of killing Magali Wagner and her daughter, Coline Ghinet.  One of the things that made them sure was that his DNA was found at the crime scene.  They also found blood from the victims on the steering wheel, gear stick, pedals, and handbrake of a car that belonged to Ngongi.

Ngongi mentioned that he moved the car, but he didn’t kill the woman.  The jury didn’t believe him.  They said he was the hired killer because of the evidence.  The jury decided that Ngongi’s role was more than just moving the car and that he was the person who killed the 2 women.  Even though he tried to say he wasn’t involved in the murders, the evidence was too strong.

The jury didn’t believe Vincent Léglise’s story either.  He said he just introduced Devalet to Ngongi and wasn’t involved in anything else.  But phone records showed that Léglise was texting both Devalet and Ngongi, and the messages didn’t match his story.

Investigators found out that Léglise helped arrange the money for the murders and set up meetings between Devalet and Ngongi.  The jury decided that Léglise wasn’t just a go-between, he was part of the murder plan.  Now that all 3 men are guilty, the court will decide how long they will go to jail later today March 14, 2025.

On March 24, 2022, Magali Wagner and her daughter, Coline Ghinet, were found dead in their home in Kraainem, Belgium. They had been drugged and stabbed. Magali’s ex-partner, Pierre Devalet, called the police, claiming to have found blood. But investigators suspected Devalet because Magali had recently broken up with him.
