King Philippe of Belgium opens Q&A for his 65th birthday

Brussels (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – King Philippe of Belgium, turning 65, invites people to ask him questions until April 24, 2025. He’ll answer selected questions in a video in May 2025.

King Philippe of Belgium wants to hear from the people. His children, the princesses and princes, are helping him. They created a video requesting that people submit questions to the king.

They told viewers that they and their siblings constantly ask the king questions, so it’s something they are accustomed to. One of the princes even requested permission from the king to ask him a question, and the king agreed.

“If we have a question for the king, we just ask it,”

Says Crown Princess Elisabeth in a video message.

“Ah yes, it’s easy for us,”

Adds Princess Eléonore.

How can people submit questions to King Philippe for his 65th birthday?

The king of Belgium is turning 65 years old. To celebrate, he’s letting people ask him questions. People can send their questions to a website called vraaghetaandekoning.be.  They can write their question or make a video. The website will be open until April 24th, 2025.  The king wants to hear from the people about anything they are curious about, whether it’s personal, about politics, or his job as king. 

The king will answer some of the questions people ask him in a special video. He will answer the questions in May 2025.  The king wants to be open and honest with the people. The king wants to hear from as many people as possible. People can find more information and ask questions on the website.
