De Nachtwinkel in Mechelen offers day-to-night entertainment

Mechelen (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): “De Nachtwinkel” in Mechelen is a popular day-to-night venue offering free afternoon dance sessions and a paid nightclub with electronic music, selling out every night . The city also hosts a free roller disco and a club night to boost its nightlife.

“De Nachtwinkel” has been a big hit with all tickets selling out fast showing how much people love it. The event offers a fun program for everyone including free dance sessions on Friday and Saturday afternoons which makes it a great way to start the weekend. It has been said that the atmosphere is lively and energetic with music playing and people dancing creating a really enjoyable space for visitors. As night comes “De Nachtwinkel” changes into a paid nightclub from 11 PM to 5 AM featuring electronic music. People mentioned that the atmosphere becomes more exciting focusing on immersive music and a club vibe that attracts night owls and electronic music fans. This mix of free dancing during the day and a paid nightclub at night has made “De Nachtwinkel” a popular and unique spot bringing in crowds and selling out every night.

What exciting events are happening this weekend in Mechelen?

This Sunday on 25th August  Mechelen will have a free roller disco from 2 to 8 PM organized with the Ice Skating Center Mechelen. It has been said that it will be a fun and lively event where people can skate to upbeat music in a colorful atmosphere. Everyone no matter their age can enjoy a day of fun on wheels bringing back the cool vibe of roller discos. The event aims to mix entertainment with community spirit making it a special part of the weekend in the city. To finish off the weekend there will be a club night that promises to be full of energy. This event is important for Mechelen where many people feel the lack of a nightclub. The club night aims to provide a place for people to dance socialize and enjoy the nightlife even if just for a night.

Maarten was excited, saying “I think it’s great. Mechelen really needed more nightlife. I hope this is just the start.” Wannes agreed, noting, “There are no clubs in Mechelen, so I wanted to be here. We really miss this.” Joya added, “I hope this can happen all the time. I’ve been to Mechelen for shopping, but this is different. The city really needed this, and now I’m ready to dance” Organizer Sammy Claes was happy to hear all the excitement, wanting to bring nightlife back to Mechelen. He mentioned “We’ve been working on a real nightclub for a while. People are really interested in this event, so I know it will be busy every night.”
