Bruges (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): Brasserie Uilenspiegel in Bruges was closed by food safety authorities for repeated violations including old food. They must fix issues and follow safety rules before reopening with no set date.

Brasserie Uilenspiegel in Bruges has been shut down for a while by the food safety authorities. The owners were fined multiple times for not following food safety rules but even after trying to fix things they still didn’t meet the standards so the violations continued. The food safety people closed Brasserie Uilenspiegel in Bruges because the owners didn’t follow the rules even after getting fines.

What led to the closure of Brasserie Uilenspiegel in Bruges by food safety authorities?

The food safety people found old food and other problems at Brasserie Uilenspiegel in Bruges. These issues kept happening and were really bad for food safety so they had to close the place for an unknown period. The Health Minister agreed with this decision because the problems were serious.
