How did a boat crash in Ghent lead to injuries and safety concerns?

It has been said that the situation got worse quickly as the captain tried to take control but seemed to panic while the boat moved wildly. In a desperate effort to steady the boat, the captain accidentally turned it toward the dock, causing a loud crash. This created a lot of chaos, and in the confusion, a person nearby fell into the water. Emergency responders were there and quickly helped the person out of the water, making sure no serious injuries happened. The incident left many people feeling shaken and showed that there is a need for better safety measures in busy waterways during events like this.

After the chaotic incident on the Ghent waters, local and maritime police said they hadn’t received any official reports about what happened. However, it was revealed that one person who fell into the water during the boat’s wild movements got seriously hurt. Witnesses said the person’s leg got caught in the boat’s propeller, causing a lot of distress and injury. Other passengers on the boat said they were hurt, with one person mentioning a hip injury. These injuries worried those who were there and started conversations about safety rules for events on the water. Authorities are being asked to investigate the incident carefully to prevent similar situations in the future and to make sure the victims get the medical help they need.
