How did firefighters stop the Beitem shed blaze near Roeselare?

Firefighters stopped the fire. A house stood only a few meters away. The people inside were woken up and brought outside to stay safe. Their home was not damaged. The shed was burned badly, and parts of its roof and walls fell apart from the heat. Firefighters were also worried about the work machines and tools kept near the barn. They mentioned that they belonged to a local contractor and were worth a lot of money.

Earlier this year, another fire broke out in a nearby village when a small garage caught fire late at night. Neighbours saw smoke and called the fire department, which arrived quickly to stop the flames. The garage was damaged, but the firefighters kept the fire from spreading to a nearby house and garden. No one was injured, and the cause of the fire was later linked to an electrical fault.
