Antwerp (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Antwerp’s Gallery 28 hosts a Banksy exhibition from Nov 28, 2025, to Dec 7, 2025. Organiser Marc Pairon and artists Denis De Gloire and Avi Kenan donate proceeds to Palestine and Ukraine.

As VRT News reported, Antwerp will host an exhibition of Banksy artworks from November 28, 2025, to December 7, 2025, at Gallery 28, Antwerp Business Suites. The exhibition features officially certified pieces, including original hand-painted miniatures of the West Bank separation wall from Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem.

“Banksy isn’t just an anonymous artist, but also a way of interacting with others,”

says initiator Marc Pairon.

“When you see Banksy’s work, you’re inspired to solve societal problems peacefully.”

What is Banksy’s art in Antwerp doing to aid Palestine and Ukraine?

Officials mentioned that visitors can also purchase limited edition Banksy stamps released by the Ukrainian Post in 2023, each set including a matching postcard and envelope. The stamps are priced at €100, while the original miniatures start at €2,000.

All proceeds from the exhibition will go to humanitarian aid in Palestine and Ukraine. Pairon, one of the organisers, said,

“Everything is offered at reasonable prices.”

The exhibition is designed to support people affected by conflict.

“I’ve been following Banks for almost 20 years, ever since he was completely unknown. He’s always been one of my heroes,”

Pairon testifies.

“I admire not only his oeuvre, but also the vision and goals of his work, which is a beautiful story. Banks thrive on solving problems in the world.”

“We can all be Banksy for a while if we hug each other and see what we can do for each other.”

“The sometimes cynical undertone in Banks’s work is meant to attract attention. Behind it almost always lies a peaceful message: Don’t abandon each other,”

says Pairon.

“We can all be Banksy for a moment if we embrace each other and see what we can do for each other.”

Pairon, one of the organisers, said that all money raised from the exhibition goes directly to families in need.

“We’re a small organisation, but we don’t charge for food, transportation, or printing. All the money we receive is deposited in its entirety into the account of a Palestinian family a week later. This way, we’ve been supporting 25 families for a year and a half,”

Pairon says. He added that Banksy’s team is aware of the exhibition and the sale of his works, confirming that the event is fully authorised.

“We also support humanitarian causes in Ukraine. The proceeds from the Banksy stamps will go towards rebuilding schools and playgrounds in the war-torn country.”

Pairon adds.

Other artists are also taking part in the humanitarian campaign. Anny Bormans, gallery owner at Gallery 28, said that 2 additional artists are contributing their works to the exhibition. The pieces from these artists join Banksy’s works to help raise funds for families affected by conflict.

“Painter Denis De Gloire will donate 10% of his proceeds to families in Palestine. Sculptor Avi Kenan is also donating 10% of his proceeds, but that money is earmarked for schools in Ukraine, “

Anny Bormans said.

Banksy first became known for painting on the West Bank separation wall near Bethlehem in the mid-2000s. He later opened the Walled Off Hotel there, which features walls painted by the artist. These works were later made into collectable miniatures.

In April 2024, art expert Marc Pairon displayed over 70 of these miniatures, along with limited edition Banksy stamps issued by Ukraine, at the Antica Fine Art Fair in Brussels. All money raised went to aid families in Gaza and help rebuild schools in Ukraine.
