Sietske is an EU and trade expert, regulatory analyst, market access adviser, and Director of TradePeers, a consultancy specialising in helping organisations prepare for the UK’s changing relationship with the European Single Market. Before setting up TradePeers, Sietske headed up the EU policy team on behalf of a major UK corporate and was involved in the EU-US (TTIP) and EU-Canada (CETA) negotiations (2013-2016). She spent a year at the Sorbonne and has a double Master in Linguistics and in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and the Free University of Amsterdam respectively.
