Ondřej Krutílek, born April 30, 1981, in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic, is a Civic Democratic Party (ODS) politician, political scientist, and university lecturer who was elected to the European Parliament in 2024 via the SPOLU coalition list, securing fifth place with over 20,000 preference votes. A graduate of Masaryk University in political science and international relations, he worked as an EU analyst, directed think-tanks like the European Information Project, and served as chief of staff to MEP Alexandr Vondra from 2019 to 2024 after an unsuccessful 2019 candidacy. Now active in the ECR group, he sits on the Industry, Research and Energy Committee (ITRE) and resides in Brno as a father of three.
