Alexandros Melidis holds a Bachelor in Political Science and Public Administration (University of Athens) and an MA Mass Communications (University of Leicester). He is currently a researcher in the Greek chapter of Transparency International, where he coordinates projects for whistleblowing, political integrity and open government. Alexandros has many years of experience at the intersection of open government and political communications, having worked with polling and communication companies, political parties, central and local government as well as being National Researcher of the Open Government Partnership Independent Reporting Mechanism. He has taught in the postgraduate programme Digital Communication Media and Interaction Environments in the Mass Media and Communication Department of the University of Athens and in the National School of Public Administration.
