As (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Peter Leeman, 54, from As, decorated his entire house to celebrate Will Tura’s 85th birthday, showing his deep admiration for the Belgian music legend.

Will Tura’s belongings occupy the living room, his bedroom, the corridor, etc. His mother was also a big enthusiast, and he began collecting when he was just six years old.

Peter has everything, including Will Tura costumes and lighters. Will Tura has the complete collection on display at home in honor of his 85th birthday.

“It took me three weeks to unpack everything. I have everything you can think of: tons of posters and all the Humo and Joepies magazines Will Tura has appeared in, as well as lighters and even a costume.”

Peter started collecting when he was six.

“My mother was a fan. She had Will Tura albums, and on the back of one of those albums, there were little pictures of Will Tura, which I had cut out. That’s how my collection started. The passion has been passed down from mother to son.”

The Japanese version of the single “Eenzaam zonder jou” (Lonely Without You) and airline tickets are among the other really unique things in Peter’s collection. The value of that record is an incredible €1,650.

A few years ago, Will Tura visited Peter in As, Belgium, himself.

“Along with his wife Jenny and his daughter. Will was impressed; he couldn’t believe I had so much.”

Singer Christoff came to visit last night.

“Christoff will be performing Will Tura’s songs this fall .”
