Brussels ( Brussels Morning Newspaper): A man was disarmed by the military police on January 6, 2025, at 16 Wetstraat, the location of the current Prime Minister’s office in Brussels. The occurrence was confirmed by the communication director of the outgoing Prime Minister Alexander De Croo Barend Leyts.
Leyts said that the man was armed with a knife and reportedly threatened military personnel at the scene.
