Sint-Truiden’s Kris Beckers sends 71 beds and medical supplies to Ukraine Hospitals

Sint-Truiden (Brussels Morning Newspaper): Kris Beckers, the Honorary Consul, helped send 71 hospital beds and 138 chairs from Sint-Trudo Hospital to Ukraine. These supplies are going to hospitals in Kyiv and Uman to support those in need.

Kris Beckers, the honorary consul, announced that two trucks with important supplies were sent to Ukraine, mainly from Sint-Trudo Hospital. The shipment had 71 hospital beds and 138 chairs to help medical facilities in Ukraine. Since the war started, Sint-Trudo Hospital has been a steady supporter by donating equipment.

What supplies did Sint-Trudo Hospital send to Ukraine?

Sint-Trudo Hospital sent not only beds and chairs but also medical clothing, blood pressure monitors, and scales to Ukraine. These supplies are essential for healthcare in areas affected by the conflict. The hospital’s ongoing support shows a strong commitment to helping Ukraine, ensuring that important resources reach those in need during this difficult time.

One truck is going to the military hospital in Kyiv, and another is to a hospital in Uman. Next week, they will load another truck with about 30 beds and 60 chairs. Many hospitals in Ukraine have been damaged, and many people are injured and need care and equipment. There are not enough of these supplies, so they want to help.
