Brussels (The Brussels Morning Newspaper): Brussels police arrested nine individuals linked to a drug trafficking ring, seizing 50 grams of cocaine, €7,500 in cash, and two vehicles during their operation.

In June, cops found out about a gang in the area, so they started looking into it. They collected information on the gang’s crimes, worrying locals and officials. To make sure everyone stayed safe, the police kept an eye on the gang and made a plan to put a stop to their activities. It’s crucial to look out for each other and keep our community secure.

What tactics did police use to investigate?

When the cops decided to check things out, they watched the suspects closely to see what they were up to. They used tactics like stakeouts and secret operations to gather proof and identify key gang members. This surveillance revealed how the gang operated and communicated, helping the police plan to catch them while keeping the public safe. Last Tuesday, the Brussels drug police raided some places and did searches. They arrested nine people. Seven of them are accused of selling drugs as a group. The other two are facing deportation and are in custody until then. Last Tuesday, police found 50 grams of cocaine, 7,500 euros in cash, and two vehicles during their searches.
