Brussels (The Brussels Morning newspaper): On August 29, there was a break-in at a house in Ixelles. A 57-year-old man died, and a woman and a young man, all from France, got hurt. It happened because of a meeting set up on Grindr, where the attackers asked for money. When the victims tried to help, shots were fired. They caught a 24-year-old suspect, and they’re still looking into it.

It has been reported that someone forcefully entered early on the morning of August 29th, around 4:00 AM, in Ixelles near Avenue Louise on Rue Gachard. One or more people went into a family’s house, and shots were fired inside. The Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed this at that time. In the event on Rue Gachard, a 57-year-old man was sadly shot and didn’t make it. A 57-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, who are all from France, got hurt too.

Who shot the French nationals in the Ixelles home invasion?

On Rue Gachard, a 57-year-old man got shot and passed away. A 57-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, all from France, also got injured but are expected to recover. The 22-year-old had arranged to meet someone through a dating app, but it was a trap set by criminals targeting app users.”At first, they couldn’t find the person responsible, but the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office revealed on Tuesday night that they have had a suspect in custody since August 30th. They’re keeping quiet about more details on the arrested guy as they continue to look into the case.”
