Brussels (The Brussels morning newspaper): Mayors Cumps and Spinette urged SNCB’s CEO to address migrant issues and resource distribution, highlighting safety concerns at Brussels-Midi station.
The mayors of Anderlecht and Saint-Gilles, Fabrice Cumps and Jean Spinette (both PS) wrote a letter to the CEO of SNCB railway operator, Sophie Dutordoir. According to La Libre, The letter warned that some people could unfairly target immigrants and linked perceived evils of the Brussels-Capital Region with absolutely all problems. It also stressed that Brussels municipalities have been calling for a national distribution plan for over 20 years.
