20-year-old driver’s swerve causes major crash in Roeselare

Roeselare (Brussels Morning Newspaper): A 20-year-old driver swerved left at Karabinierstraat, Roeselare hitting two trees and a traffic sign before rolling onto his side. The cause is under investigation, and injuries were reported.

On 1st November a 20-year-old driver was on his way to a care center after 1 o’clock when his car suddenly swerved left at the intersection with Karabinierstraa, Roeselare. The reason for this turn is unclear.

What caused the 20-year-old driver’s crash at Karabinierstraat?

During the swerve, the car hit two trees on the roadside. The vehicle did not stop and continued moving, crashing into a traffic sign further down the road. The car slid back to the middle of the road and came to a stop at the intersection with Karabinierstraat, ending up on its side. The collision caused significant damage. 

A resident helped the driver out of the vehicle. An ambulance arrived at the scene due to the driver’s injuries, and the fire department was called to clear the road. Authorities are investigating to find out what caused this crash.
