1st grade photos submission open for Limburg schools

Limburg (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – Het Belang van Limburg will publish its annual Eerste Klasje supplement on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, featuring first-grade class photos. Schools must submit photos by Monday, September 8, 2025.

As HBVL News reported, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, Het Belang van Limburg, Belgium will publish its annual “Eerste Klasje” supplement. The supplement gives a clear view of the classrooms and the start of the school year. 

What Hasselt schools must do to submit Eerste Klasje photos?

The “Eerste Klasje” photos will also be available online. Readers will receive the printed supplement in their mailboxes. Officials mentioned that schools that want their youngest students to appear in the “Eerste Klasje” supplement need to act quickly. At the end of August 2025, every school received an email with a personal link to submit a class photo of their first-grade students. 

Many photos have not yet reached the editorial team. Het Belang van Limburg is asking all primary schools in Limburg to submit a first-grade class photo as soon as possible. The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 8, 2025. Schools that have not received the email or need help can contact the editorial team at eersteklasje@hbvl.be or call 011/87.83.99. 

The “Eerste Klasje” supplement is published every year by Het Belang van Limburg at the start of the school year, usually in late September. Last year, the supplement featured 572 class photos, showing a total of 9,179 students from across Limburg.
