Netanyahu accused of ‘playing both sides’ following the killing of Hezbollah leader.
Families of Israeli captives held in Gaza have accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “playing both sides” following the killing of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah in Lebanon.
Naama Weinberg, 27, whose cousin was taken to Gaza and later killed, expressed frustration with Netanyahu for diverting attention from securing a deal for the captives’ release to focusing on Israel’s northern border, where tens of thousands have been displaced by Hezbollah attacks.
Weinberg urged Washington to apply pressure on the prime minister to end the war on Gaza and secure the release of the remaining abductees.
