The Ryanair airline suspended these trips to Morocco from Belgium, the reason: a strike promoted by its hostesses.

An employee strike of the Ryanair airline, caused at the end of last week in Belgium, has canceled numerous flights to different destinations, including those highlighted by the city of Tangier.

Cancellation of Many Flights

The Irish company has caused the cancellation of at least, a dozen flights that unite Belgium with other airports worldwide. According to the data collected by the Agency Tanja24, the causes of said cancellation have been the hostesses themselves.

This has triggered that more than 120 flights have not made their planned trips. Also, the number of affected has been around 19,000 passengers to different destinations, among which is Tangier.

The flights that connect the South Brussels Airport (Charleroi) with that of Tangier (Ibn Battuta) and therefore have not been made, have been a total of four. These trips were scheduled for last Saturday and Sunday, and because of the strike, the passengers has not been able to get on Ryanair’s plane.

According to the Agency Tanja24, the Irish company notified the passengers in advance only two days before the start of the strike, in which a multitude of travelers were affected. The Flight Company offered several solutions to those affected: one of them, “take a balance to buy tickets on a later date, or change the trip date according to the seats available on other flights” as the Moroccan news agency collects . Although these options were not much liked for passengers.

The Ryanair Workers’ Union in Belgium has announced its willing .

This problem joins several background that the Irish company has with its travelers.
